BUENOS AIRES, Argentina - Argentine couples retained their dominance of the world's top tango dancing competition as the annual festival drew to a close.
Guido Palacios and Florencia Castilla, a couple in real life as well as on the dance floor, won the Stage Tango finals Tuesday with a score of 8.89 from a seven-member jury of dancers and choreographers.
Twenty couples from around the world competed in the Stage finals marking the end of the two-week festival.
But no one impressed the panel as much as the hometown couples who danced before a large crown in Buenos Aires' Luna Park stadium.
Argentine couples also came out on top in the Salon competition the night before.
The top winners received $7,000 dollars in cash and tickets to Paris, where they're expected to perform.

  1. Guido Palacios and Florencia Castilla must be happy they won that competition to get 7,000 dollars in cash and to go to Paris and perform that is awesome....(to me)..... i would die just to get that 7,000 dollars and i would try my hardest. Who ever trained them the tango must be a pro at what they do best... i bet the other couples where ashamed that they didn't win but they better be lucky they where even competing. to get seven thousands dollars was for only the top winners. the top winners must have trained very hard to get to where they are now. but to get a 8.89 must be the highest that they've gotten. - Daniel Hayes -

This Article tell me about the dancing in the Spanish cultural. Its amazing how much money they win for this competition. I would love to try and win 7000 dollars n cash. That much money can really change my life. Also it will give me a chance to learn different types of spanish dances and I could become more proficient in them. This article is amazing I would earn more about it.

  3. I think this article is good because its dancing. Its interesting because I can't really dance. They also win so much money for doing something so simple. I really like the article because there isn't a lot of people that's brave enough to do something like this. Maybe someone else could win a large some of money for dancing.

  4. Jonathan livingston.... I think they are the best dancer because they beat 20 other contestants and that makes you want to try to learn how to dance.
