Postcard Homework!

Chicos, 

Here are the instructions for our homework today. You are to write a short postcard message to your Mexican pen pal, Paloma.

Write a short postcard of four sentences to her explaining what you, your friends, and Spaniards do on the weekend. Don't forget to ask her what she does on the weekend!

On the other side of the postcard please draw, design, and color in a picture from the Spanish-speaking world. It can be from anywhere in the Spanish-speaking world.

Comic strip assignment!

Hola chicos!

Your assignment is to create your comic strip, as an introduction to yourself.  Think of it as, "A Day in my Life".  Use the template example to create your own comic strip with 6 slides in it.  You need to show the activity you like/love/are interested in/are bored by and the weather or season you do it in.

My example is also shown, but please be sure to create your own comic.  Please do not copy too closely, as that will be considered plagiarism.

Hola, chicos!  Here is our example we studied today of the letter you will be writing.  Please remember to include your 5 activities used in each Venn Diagram.  Both will be turned in tomorrow (stapled together).

The outline is:
- Introduction paragraph - name, where you are from, age, date/weather.
- Gustar paragraph - What do you like to do?  Your 5 activities
- Encantar paragraph - What do you love to do?  Your 5 activities
- Interesar paragraph - What are you interested in doing?  Your 5 activities
- Aburrir paragraph - What bores you?  Your 5 activities
* Don't forget to include 2 total sentences in the 3rd person!!*

¡Hola!  ¿Qué tal?  ¿Cómo estás?  Estoy bien.  Me llamo Cristina y yo soy de Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Tengo catorce años y vivo en Cordova, Tennessee. 

Hoy es el veintidós de enero.  Es el invierno, ¡mi estación favorita!  Hoy, hace mucho frío y nieva.  Hace viento y esta nublado también.  La temperatura es trece grados.  ¡Brrrr! 

¿Qué te gusta hacer?  Me gusta mucho leer revistas y tocar la guitarra.  Me gusta un poco jugar al tenis, pero no me gusta mirar Facebook o tomar una siesta.  A mi mama no le gusta cocinar.

¿Qué te encanta hacer?  Me encanta mucho estudiar y ver la tele.  Me encanta un poco cocinar.  No me encanta jugar al ajedrez o dormir.  A mi amigo Willie le encanta tocar un instrumento a la escuela. 

¿Qué te interesa hacer?  Me interesa mucho enviar un mensaje de texto porque me encanta pasar tiempo con amigos.  También, me interesa un poco jugar al ajedrez.  No me interesa comer o beber.  A mi maestra, Señorita Shannon le interesa hablar español. 

¿Qué te aburre?  Me aburre mucho ir a una fiesta y hacer ejercicio.  Me aburre un poco pintar.  No me aburre bailar o viajar.  A Gabriel le aburre un poco ir de compras.
