In-Class Project: Pinterest!

Chicos, 

We have a great opportunity to create a fun project as the year is winding down! Let's talk about... nuestros estilos! 

This project is called My Style / Mi Estilo. 

You are going to:

Draw/clip out/find Pins to describe style.

 - 5 pictures of outfits 

 - Description of all articles of clothing (up to 5) using Spanish vocabulary word, color, and material.

 - Tell how much money (dollars, pesos, or euros) each article of clothing costs

 - Describe your own style (preppy, alternative, goth, nerdy, casual, sporty, etc.)

 - Say what you PREFER to wear and LIKE to wear!

Food Pyramid Project

Draw a food pyramid with all 6 food groups.

Label all food groups and IN SPANISH, tell how many servings/portions you should eat per day.

In each food group, draw or add 5 pictures (from magazine or printed) with label in Spanish for food item.

Write 10 sentences about food pyramid.

6 sentences - Tell which foods are in each food group, if they are healthy, and how many portions you should eat per day.

4 sentences - Using your food pyramid, tell your friend what he/she should eat. Compare 2 foods in the pyramid and tell why he/she should eat the food rather than the other.

Quarter 4 Project: Due Dates approaching!

Hola chiquitos, 

Please please PLEASE don't forget that we have our first checks on our Quarter 4 project coming up next week!  

The dates are:

Monday, March 24 = supply check 

• Show me the sketchbook, binder, and copy or construction paper (at least 100 sheets) that you will make your book with.

Friday, March 28 = 25% check

• At least 25/100 pages completed. These pages can be a mix of vocabulary and verbs if you like.
• Number the pages! I will be counting them to make sure you have 25 completed by Friday.

• PRINTED PICTURES (IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A COLOR PRINTER MAKE SURE THE PICTURE YOU CHOOSE SHOWS UP IN BLACK AND WHITE!)

 

THE PROJECT NEEDS TO BE COLORFUL! IT'S NOT NECESSARY TO USE A COLOR PRINTER, BUT THERE MUST BE COLOR ON EACH PAGE.
